- i wish i had periwinkle or peach eyes and a lilting irish accent and a shadow that danced when i was still
- the oddest people are attracted to me-- i was followed by a mime on stilts in new orleans and a fiddler at the renaissance festival, and a woman rhapsodized about my eyelashes once in a restaurant
- i wear foresty, ethereal colors; dove greys and garnets and lavender and deep greens... pretty much my entire closet fits into that palette, and people are always amazed when i wear black (which i do fairly often, i never see why it's a big deal)
- the only times i allow myself to read hans christian andersen's fairy tales and drink hazelnut hot chocolate are when i'm devastatingly sad; they always calm me
- i think i like ikea too much-- but how could you not when it has that delicious apple cake?

- my life revolves around international baccalaureate which gets overwhelming
- what if the reason people love song so much is that, just like we love drumbeats because they mirror the beating of our hearts and the ocean partly because it has the exact salt content of our bodies, we used to speak in melodies and notes and tones, like whales, and certain musical phrases reawaken something in us that remembers that it meant i love you or what a beautiful sunset?
- like in tess of the d'urbervilles, my true last name is from a noble bavarian family and my current last name is a simplified version of it
- there is a swarovski crystal in my belly button which my best friend says makes me look like a mermaid hahaha!
- i love love love having my hair braided and played with :)
- my favorite flowers are lavender roses and spider lilies, my favorite epic poem is beowulf for some reason, my favorite castle is schloss neuschwanstein and my favorite harry potter movie is the sixth
- i enjoy knowing odd little things that have no purpose except to provoke small smiles or curiosity

- some of my talents are admiring soft things, philosophizing about the thoughts of dragons, dancing in places that aren't meant for dancing, annotating things, staring out of stained glass windows, mourning what could never be, singing in languages i do not speak, and sleepwalking through large hotels in wintertime
