I mostly teetotle these days...just remembering the evolution of booze in my life.

• 1974 - first taste of beer (Coors-from dad)
• 1981 - first taste of wine, first time being drunk, age 11. I was a waitress at a parish spaghetti dinner, serving priests and nuns table wine and drinking the leftovers with my best friend. Puked in my parent's shrubs.
• 1985 - first wine cooler
• 1986 - first time feeling "peer pressure" to drink. I held my onto my morals by prentending to drink and throwing my cup in bushes when no one was looking
• 1987 - first sober driver - Joe Ivankay - somehow making it appear cool to not partake.
• 1989 - first dorm party, second time being drunk.
• 1990 - 1994: drink of choice, beer
• 1995 - 1996: Pilsner Uruquell, Grolsch
• 1997: drink of choice, box o'wine, preferably white zinfandel
• 1998 - 1999: drink of choice, cabernet
• 2000 - 2002: drink of choice, merlot
• 2003 - drink of choice, pinot noir
• 2004 - present: drink of choice, jack daniels over ice
