what was your biggest achievement of the year? i finally felt confident in my own skin after a long period of time dealing with self loathing

did you suffer illness or injury? mental illness

what was the best thing you bought? my optimus alive tickets

where did most of your money go? clothes

what did you get really, really, really excited about? going to optimus alive and seeing 5 of my favorite bands live (actually i only became a fan of foster the people after optimus alive but i'm couting them anyway)

which song will always remind you of 2014? brooklyn baby, constant conversations, gods and monsters, hannah hunt, houdini, hurricane, i wanna get better, i would do anything for you, la calling, menswear, m.o.n.e.y., my song 5, night changes, the mother we share, tightrope, young volcanoes

compared to this time last year, are you:

• sadder of happier? i think right now, at this exact moment, i would have to say happier

how did you spend christmas? at my grandma's house with my grandma (duh), mom, aunts, uncles and cousins (including my 12 year old cousin who wouldn't stop touching my butt) everything went fine until my mom got into a huge argument with my uncles and she stormed out of the house without even saying goodbye it was super dramatic and intense

what were your favorite tv programmes? friends, american horror story, sex and the city

do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? no - actually, i think i like someone now that i hated last year

what was the best book you read? tanta gente, mariana by maria judite de carvalho

what was your greatest musical discovery? i didn't discover almost any new artists which is pretty sad BUT i have a new found love for the 1975 (my current favorite band) and fell in love with foster the people

what did you want and get? to get over my mental health issues, go to optimus alive and see at least one of the guys from the list live

what did you want and not get? to fall in love

what was your favorite film of this year? 12 years a slave, the book thief, august: osage county (i do realize they were all released last year but i only watched them in 2014 so)

how many people did you kiss during the year? zeroooo

what did you do on your birthday? i visited quinta da regaleira with my parents it was not your typical 18 year old birthday party but i enjoyed it a lot nonetheless

what one thing would have made your year immesurably more satisfying? getting a boyfriend

how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2014? it goes from pin-up to vintage to soft grunge

what kept you sane? my meds lmaoooo and music and friends (the tv show)

which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? alex turner, evan peters, mark foster, matty healy, FINN WITTROCK

who did you miss? pedro and miguel

who was the best new person you met? i didn't meet almost anyone new this year which is pretty sad but i guess i'll have to say my step-sister, we're still getting to know each other but i think we're getting along pretty well

do you have any regrets about the year? i regret my anxiety attacks and psychotic episodes but that's now exactly my fault
