- There are certain things that people with whom you are in relationships (romantic, friendships, etc) with should and should not do

- talking
- hanging out
- being nice
- providing validation, support, encouragement, and critique, and will tell you when you are being an ass
- etc
- but also (see below)
- it is important to know that everyone broadcasts their love in different ways
- and if you are unable to accept their frequencies and vice versa it is ok to find someone whom you are more compatible with
- you should be able to do the above list as well
- You are not your mother
- You are not trapped
- Most people are alone anyways
- or will be with time
- (i'm not sure if this comforting or a harrowing truth)
- Everything gets better with practice
- read
- write
- if you don't do things that make you uncomfortable you will never be able to do them
