- someone who i could call anytime of day just to say that i miss her,
- or that i need someone to just talk to
- or that i found some really cool website that is perfect for her
- then she'd laugh, and things will be fine
- or i'd text her a quote and she'd text back a quote
- or just be a shoulder to cry on when i'm pms-ing
- without feeling guilty that i've been a naughty girl
- no judgments, but i-told-you-sos are okay
- not feeling that she's excluding me on purpose
- or not feeling left out when she's around
- always feeling that we're two magical creatures
- cutting up magazines, or sharing clothes and secrets;
- finding beauty in the smallest gestures
- finding beauty even if the other's feeling crappy;
- without caring if this world is sick and jaded
- our friendship will keep us alive
- rain or shine
- with or without lovers
- just as close as sisters
- as close as two best friends could ever be
- the kind of closeness i've never even begun to imagine
- just her
- and the universe between us
- and me.
