    • what i liked about it: was a real book. i could see myself in the main character. made me realize life isn't what it seems. there are people in this world who went through worse things than you have.
    • what i didn't like about it: pretty much nothing, but the way the author presented some of the people from school wasn't actually nice. i understand it was melinda's point of view, but still. and i would like to have a sequence, felt a little bit like aia, the fictional book created by john green: ended in the middle of everything.

    • what i liked about it: everything. i love how kate is introduced. i love how i can feel what kate is feeling. i can relate to her so freaking much. i love how teri is introduced, too. i felt things while reading this book. i was attached to mickey, somehow, and then, when he wasn't there anymore, i really felt things. and i also love mitch more than anyone else on this book. he may be my new favorite male character of all time, bye-bye charlie. he is really supportive, and the fact that he is really selfish doesn't change it. i loved everything about this book. i really did. it's realist.
    • what i didn't like about it: again, felt like aia. i really want to know what happened next.

    • what i liked about it: the story really touches you. makes you feel something. makes you realize how important it is to stand up and to fight for other people's right to be heard and respected. i love how arthur radley is portrayed and how jean louise finally realizes how he feels, how important it is to stand on his shoes.
    • what i didn't like about it: there's no such thing.
    • favorite quote: “atticus said that jem was trying hard to forget all the prejudice and injustice he saw at tom’s trial. after enough time passed, jem would be able to make sense of it all and sort things out, but right now he was very upset. ”
