Wishlist:

Obviously, I won't be receiving all these things, but one can dream...

• a book of vintage images and history of the Disneyland Hotel area. I am completely bummed that they have taken out so many of the wonderful things there that make up my childhood memories...and now they have even removed the waterfalls. I need a book. Hopefully I'll find one at Compass books in Downtown Disney.
• Klutz books on animation, paper flowers and creative video editing.
• A video camera - long shot, but wishing anyway.
• Enchanted Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion or Jungle Cruise shadow box - available at Disneyland.
• Street Photography Now - hardcover book (it's cheaper on Amazon, but it is also out of stock there - might want to just get it from B&N)

Activities:

• Tim Burton art exhibit at LACMA.
• Dinner out somewhere - haven't yet decided.

UPDATE: Went to the Tim Burton art exhibit at LACMA - amazing! Highly recommended! We ended up eating a very, very late lunch there (super expensive for cafeteria hamburgers!) and dinner was late as well - so we ended up at Taco Bell. :) We plan to go to brunch at Duke's Malibu in a few weeks to make up for the lack of a nice dinner. My cake was a Madonna Inn Pink Champagne Cake that we drove up the coast to pick up the day before...sugar shock!! But really yummy. For gifts, I feel very spoiled this year. I got an awesome Tiki print by the fabulous Doug Horne, whom I met in person at the 4th of July street fair here in Ventura. I also got a Haunted Mansion shadow box from Disneyland, 2 Tim Burton art books from the museum (a total surprise from my hubby and daughter who felt bad that I couldn't take pictures in the exhibit per museum rules), and An Illustrated Life book filled with wonderful illustrations by various artists which I picked up at Borders while up north getting the cake. Awesomeness!! :)
