• big marble stairs led to the entrance
    • at the middle of them, there was a metal gate and you had to turn the keys counterclockwise to open it
  • the walls were light orange (close to this list's colour)
  • the floor was of light-coloured wood
  • the ceiling was very, very high
  • there were beautiful plaster crown moldings
  • there was a little porch
    • when i was little, there was a hammock there...
    • ...but latter we filled it with plants, so there was no room for the hammock anymore
  • my mother forced us to change to my aunt's room after she moved out
  • our (and, later, only my) second room had a bathroom hidden on the closet
  • the clothesline had very complicated workings, involving various lines at the end of which there was a metal ring in which a hook would go and then fuck me
  • it got unbearably hot in the summer
  • some of our downstairs neighbors were very noisy people, but sometimes they made funny samba circles
  • when i was little, i would go to my child neighbors' house and play his computer games with him, but, as we grew up, we tore apart completely
  • the sliding door to kitchen had a little metal handle that hid inside it and got out with a button (and a loud clack)
    • child me would play with it for hours thinking about life
  • there was a mysterious attic i never really entered
