- Organize the kitchen
  - Remove curtains from windows and wash
  - Vacuum light fixtures, shelves, and cabinets
  - Disinfect and clean all areas
  - Clean the refridgerator and microwave tops
  - Scrub the floors
  - Put the things I am keeping back in cabinets and cupboards
  - Schedule a spring rummage sale on my calendar
- Organize the desk
  - Clear off the surface of desk
  - Empty out the desk drawers and clean
  - Organize the supplies
  - Put usable contents back into the drawers...

home and garden (maintenance by season)

DURING THE FALL
- replace the filters in heating and air conditioning systems
- remove window air conditioners
- change the batteries on smoke detector
- inspect the seals on windows and doors
- inspect joints in ceramic tile and caulk around tubs and sinks
- inspect exposed wiring and cords for wear and fraying
- have heating and air conditioning systems serviced
- inspect for and repair any plumbing leaks
DURING THE SPRING
- inspect the attic, ceilings, and roof overhang for water damage
