Since I've been watching this Every Degrassi Ever marathon I thought I would start this now. Even though I've seen some of the new seasons we would be in the same year as Emma.

  • Sean (though we would have to listen to Emma talk about him all the time)

  • Jay (and by date I mean briefly hook up with)
• Who Laura would date

  • Craig (before that whole dating Manny/Ashley in secret happens)

• Our school activities
  • We would both write for the Grapevine (which is kind of like when we wrote for yearbook)
  • Laura would be on student government, but would not be president- she'd probably be treasurer or some sort of student rep
  • Since they don't have a band at Degrassi, we would just have to participate in random musical events, like all those times they have battle of the bands; we would bond with Ashley because of our keyboard playing skills, but our clarinet/trumpet playing probably wouldn't be useful in the Degrassi universe
  • I would be in some of those dorky school plays
  • We would both be in Emma's environmentalism club/ I would join Emma in her recycling crusade at Smithdale.
  • I would work at the Dot because my family would still need money/I wouldn't be as busy with school with the lack of band
  • Laura would make extra money by babysitting, and would babysit baby Jack a lot for Emma since they are close friends
  • Initially we would be in Friendship Club, but after they harassed Marco for handing out condoms we would start a new bible study that promoted more tolerance
• How we would be involved in notable events
  • I would constantly get annoyed by Emma's issues with Sean for all those years, so Laura would be a more supportive friend
  • Laura would date Marco before he realizes he's gay and would be sad for a while when he comes out
  • Laura would date Craig when he decides Manny's too immature for him, before he becomes interested in Ashley
  • Laura, Liberty, and I would all compete with each other in school; I would feel bad because Laura would constantly do better than me, and I would focus more on boys
  • I would date Jimmy after he broke up with Ashley and before he dates Hazel; I would admire his athletic skills and he would support me by coming to my music performances
  • We would back Manny when she wants to get an abortion, since Emma and she become more distant at that point in their friendship (though Emma does say it's ultimately Manny's choice)
  • I would have sympathized with Rick in his outsider status and have a hard time with reconciling my sympathy with his character after he shoots Jimmy/himself
  • I would support Spinner when his friends all leave him; he would start dating me after Manny dumped him because of his involvement in the shooting; also we would bond because we worked at The Dot together
  • I would become interested in a law career after Dean is found not guilty in Paige's trial; this would prompt me to want to advocate for people who are mistreated by the justice system
  • Laura would get sucked in to Emma's poor eating habits when she's anorexic and they would both have unhealthy attitudes about food; Laura would make Emma get help though in conjunction with Manny
  • We would serve as a major support system for Liberty after J.T. gets stabbed and would try to help her find new men to move on with her life when she was ready
  • I would hook up with Jay because I would be depressed when Spinner starts dating Darcy
  • Later when Darcy and Spinner break up we would get back together again, and we wouldn't break up until I left for college and he started dating Jane, who's a lot cooler than me; he briefly hooks up with Paige right after Darcy breaks up with him so this wouldn't affect our relationship
  • I would advise Paige when she's having trouble defining her sexuality and getting involved with Alex, but later we would have a falling out because she hooks up with Spinner again and I really love him and see this as a betrayal
  • I would help Marco with his campaign to expose hypocrisy after they won't let him give blood because he's gay
  • Laura would date Damien before he dates Emma, and after he kissed Liberty at prom and Emma dumped him, Laura would start dating him again; he and Emma never had very good chemistry but Laura and Damien's relationship would continue in college because he was actually a good guy
