Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty, Twenty-One. I think I'm starting this a little earlier than the past few years? Not sure. But without further ado, it's around twelve hours to the 9th, and here is the list of who I am, as of 8th August 2016:
- Important things first: finally at the age where I can sing that Taylor Swift song and have it be accurate
- God, I don't even know where to begin with this list... stuff has been crazy since the day I turned 21 and I've gone through too much shit to recount, but for some reason I have a smile on my face as I begin my attempt
- It seems a little silly to describe appearances when little has changed, so I'll condense this into one point: long hair at a reasonable length (probably not going to change this anymore), no more bangs though, the same two pairs of glasses, no new piercings, OH but like five new tattoo...

 Eighteen. Once more on the brink of the 9th. Who I am, as of 8th August 2013:
- Still with the giant, nerd glasses
- Longer-than-shoulder-length but shorter-than-halfway-down-my-back hair
- Very nostalgic for Harry Potter at the moment
- Also a Ravenpuff - huzzah!
- I think that being sorted into Hufflepuff shows how much I've changed this year
- I don't prize knowledge over simple things like kindness and friendship anymore
- And I certainly am not quick to state all the "awesome, intellectual" things I've accomplished anymore
- Really, I used to brush over Hufflepuff
- But I think, now, that it just might be the best house because while the others are fighting for glory and achievements, Hufflepuff just quietly gets things done

Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty. Once again it's a few hours to the 9th, so here's who I am, as of 8th August 2015:
- Unfortunately, last-hours-of-nineteen, I was not on the cusp of something new
- This year has been insane from start to finish, I can remember things happening every single month from last August to now
- I can't wrap my head around how different things are from what they were just twelve months ago
- But firstly, still with the large glasses (I have two pairs now, one black and one purple)
- Pretty long hair and bangs
- Still at six piercings
- The only significant addition to my appearance is that I got tattooed (!)
- So currently: two tattoos
- I got my license last month (finally)
- And I have a simple job (finally)

Eighteen, Nineteen. Saying goodbye to nineteen in a couple of hours and hello to twenty. Who I am, as of 8th August 2014:
- I'm still using too many "I"s in my sentences
- And I'm probably on the cusp of something new
- Still with the giant glasses... 3/5 years completed!
- Side shave + my hair's halfway down my back, finally
- I have a total of six piercings now
- I don't really know what else to write... maybe this tradition is dying out early
- I'm in my degree year of college
- And it's terrifying because it's one more year till work, but at the same time I'm so tired of studying I don't know if I should feel relieved instead
- I'm finally learning to drive
- And I don't have a job yet (as usual)
