Me: Oh, I'm in high school. Man: Do you know what you want to do in life? Me: I think I want to go to art school. Man: You should, that's what I do. Okay, good bye. This was probably the cutest encounter I've had. I was pleasantly surprised that this guy had the guts to walk up to people and basically say, I'm lonely will you be my friend?
Me: drawing and smoking in park Man: thirtysomething with kid Man: Oh, so you like to draw? Me: well, yeah, I come here sometimes just to doodle and, you know... Man: So are you on your lunch break right now? Me: I'm on spring break. Man: Oh, so you go to art school? Me: I go to high school. Man: Oh, that's cool. Well, I really like your drawings, you've got a lot of talent. [man is easily ten feet away] Me: Ok.
Me: buying book of some German guy's drawings Man: old. Borderline cute old man. Wearing Beatles' Revolver tie. Man: Hmm...never heard of this guy Me: He's pretty cool, I guess...I like his pen and ink sketches. Man: Mhm. Me: I like your tie. Man: Do you even know what this is? Me: Of course, I would be ashamed if I didn't. Man: I remember when we used to wait for the new Beatles' records to come out. Me: I wish I was alive back then. Man [not listening]: well, have a good day.
