- When I'm sick she still makes me peanut butter and jelly and cuts them into four squares. Like she did when I was little.
- She let me get a tattoo when I was sixteen without my dad's permission.
- She never told my dad or brother that I had sex with my boyfriend when I was fourteen. They would have been mad as fuck.
- She has a lot of really great records.
- She's my mom.
- When I was having a bad week she bought me a Happy Unbirthday cookie cake, a huge book about the Beatles, and Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut.
- When Allison and I couldn't drive she used to wait on us to get back from South Carolina and take us to Wal Mart for ice cream or whatever Allison forgot at 1 or 2 in the morning.
- When I'd get sad at night she'd take me for a ride, even if we didn't have the gas and she was really tired. And buy me a soda or milkshake even when she didn't really have the extra money.
- She listens to me talk about future tattoos, even though she hates them.
- She watches movies I'm interested in when I want someone to talk about the movie with.
- Same for books.
- She let me quit school.
- She's letting me move to South Carolina. Even though I'm not eighteen yet.
- When I was little she told me that if anything ever happened to her then she wanted me to remember one thing, if nothing else: Jesus loves me. :)
