- exchanging christmas gifts with Anna & Greyson- getting "Days of War, Nights of Love" from Anna, Slap Straps for my mayan hammock from Greyson
- giving Anna a necklace with a one inch working harmonica on it, engraved "Little Lady"
- giving Greyson a portrait poster of him
- finishing a commissioned oil painting and getting paid
- Juan lending me the book "Born in the Year of the Butterfly Knife"
- getting on a plane to California
- going to a yoga class with my mom
- helping my dad make vegetarian lasagna
- shopping at the Alpha Thrift, finding a 7 dollar red and white polka dotted pin up dress
- staying in Suzy's room, a wooden shack behind a flower garden, with a mattress on the floor with a handmade quilt, a slanted cieling, and wood floors...crates of old records... a wooden teal cabinet containing numerous old photo albums
- walking at night by myself with a flashlight to the park, sitting on a bench beneath a willow tree and star gazing
- sketching people with Daniel in the park
- biking on a long sunlit and tree lined path to the beach, shadowed by mountains, immersing my feet in the cold ocean water, picking oranges, riding back home with sandy socks
- christmas breakfast at Bob's, crackers, paper hats, champagne, new books, walking on the beach
- standing on a smooth rock as the tide rushed above my ankles
- Spending New Year's Eve at Lisa's house with Adrianne, Sean, Hannah & Rose
- Eating curried vegetables and vegetarian lasagna and Hannah's amazing homemade dark chocolate hazelnut truffles by candlelight
- exchanging late christmas gifts, getting a bright blue beaded dress from Goodwill from Lisa
- winning a handcrafted ceramic mug at the gift exchange party
- drinking champagne at midnight on the beach, doing cartwheels and rapping and dancing and toasting to hundreds of bizarre things
- hanging the show with the help of my friends
- going back to the apartment afterward and drinking wine out of unusual vessels (flower vases, bowls, etc) and proceeding to dance uproariously with Lisa, Michelle, Harrison, Anna and Bryce...
- watching Ghost World with Sean and Hannah at the SCAD library
- biking in the cold to class, feeling the wind blow through
- drinking peach detox tea and defrosting back in the apartment
- getting interviewed by the NY Times about my art show
- picking up all of my art supplies for my new classes
- starting new sketchbooks
