- his birthday is the same as mine: Sept. 20
- he grew up in a hilly suburb in Pennsylvania, where he used to cause mischief with his best friend, Tommy Perkins
- he has blue eyes, a bristly Hulk Hogan moustache and very muscular legs that he uses in the most distinctive crotchety old man walk ever

- he decorates his classroom with posters of favorite cartoons: Spongebob and the Power Puff Girls. He also has a Clint Eastwood poster because he loves old westerns.
- he likes to irritate his students while they are being quizzed with noisemakers: maracas, gongs, talking toys, those echoing voice things.
- he hates getting gifts and if we ask if he wants anything, he says no, he already has what he wants and that's his kids
- he owns a robin's egg blue 1956 Chevy and 7 or 8 years ago he started a classic car club called The Chevy Tri-Five Cruisers
- he loves peanut butter, pretzels, salads, cole-slaw, and coffee- LOTS of coffee
- when washing the windshield at the gas station, he gets very dramatic about it and turns it into a dance
- his typical outfit consists of either a suit and tie for school, a t-shirt and comfy shorts, striped polo shirts, tennis shoes, and a watch
- his favorite color is blue
- he loves the movie Braveheart
- he was married once before he met my mom to a girl named Donna when he was in his early twenties (I thought that was funny- Don and Donna haha)
- he thinks most popular music nowadays is complete crap but he DOES like One Republic and Akon
- he hates going on roller coasters
- when he retires, he plans on writing a book that exposes the evils of the private school system
- he used to coach football and wrestling at DCD
