- forgive yourself: move on when things do not go the way you expected. you are not perfect. no one is. practicitng discipline is a skill and is build on practice.
- make it easy: start slow. don't try to push yourself to do everything at once, and be honest with how much you can do.
- focus on enjoyment: doing stuff is so much easier when you add enjoyment to the equation. when you need to study, put on some music you enjoy on the background. listen to podcasts while you clean. gamify your tasks.
- failing does not define you: no matter how organized and disciplined you are, you will slip up from time to time. just keep going and keep trying, learn from your mistakes.
- repeat: doing something over and over again, like pushing yourself to be more disciplined every day, is inevitably going to take you far. so don't give up, keep on working on this skill and someday it will come naturally to you.
