• It's about a magical place / time of day around Twilight called 'The Treasure Time'.
  • My main character is a young girl, around 8 - 10 years old. She is very dreamy and lives with her head in the clouds, think Anne Shirley with a little of the wisdom of Sara Crewe.
  • The treasure time is a time when normal every day items and things turn into more magical things for example a stone will become a faerie seeing stone, a key will become a key to a magical kingdom, a leaf will become a boat for insects and so on.
  • So far the main character is telling me her first name is Emily. It's not one of my favourite names but it seems to be what she wants to be called.
  • Still a vague idea but if she finds an item during Treasure Time which belongs to somebody she may be able to go into their world, everyone has their own magical world unique to them, and she might discover things about other people that way - perhaps learn why older people aren't as dreamy.
  • Someone might discover her talent for going into other worlds and try to stop her, be keeping a secret.
  • Idea for older peoples worlds - they could be dusty due to lack of use, empty, full of unused things or influenced by emotions such as dark and cold for sadness, bright and happy for happiness, dangerous and scary for anger etc.
  • Her greatest wish it for a friend to understand her, maybe she could find a friend in the Treasure Time and try to bring them back to the real world with her.
  • Perhaps as the story progresses her own world starts to change as she sees more things and gets more experienced, she fights to keep her world the same but it changes around her.
