  • certain internet social circles have really tried to treat the overarching nonbinary identity as some sort of third gender, that is, defining such a broad spectrum by a single experience or caricature. i probably need not even speak on how isolating having such a limited portrayal can be for those that don't fit into the stereotype (popularised mostly by tiktok and the like, but let's be honest, it's a little bit everywhere) but hell, it's similarly detrimental to those that /do/ 'uphold the stereotype' in some capacity, of course due to
