• make an accurate animatic
  • take your drawings by the balls
  • try to make your roughs not too rough
  • mess with after effects
  • study the dimensions of your characters
    • break them down to simple shapes
    • strong silhouettes
  • test a lot
    • test animate your characters
    • test colors
    • test layout designs
    • make sure desired mood is acquired before finalizing
  • tvpaint: small lines being edited in 150% look really good at 100%
  • if working on cintiq, keep checking if colors look really off in other monitors
  • don't procrastinate badly!! you're at risk at damaging your eyes more than others as they are already sensitive and damaged.
  • your shots must be thought out on how they would look on a wide-screen, not in square format.
    • don't repeat this mistake
    • can use foreground elements to frame shot in faux-square format
  • working on your film while only listening to music and not touching anything else will make your productive speed so much better and you won't waste as much time.
    • don't let yourself take it easy as often as you did if you want to succeed at executing your idea
    • i finished all of my layouts on the very last 14 hours because i never looked away from working on it.
      • at this time i worked 9 hours straight on it, so try to take this full focus moment 4 hours at a time because my wrist/hand started to hurt from it. always be safe and invest in your future!
