I like to think that I am good/alright at:
- guitar
- (thinking I can) sing well
- being chummy with everyone
- giving out life-saving advice
- drawing
- cruising on my skateboard
- being witty
- charming people
- being funny
I am really good at/with:
- amusing myself (and on good days, everyone else)
- loving people (it's serious business, I mean my love)
- letting everyone know how I feel about stuff
- eating atrocious amounts of food and remaining skinny, skinny, skinny ('tis the life)
- wishful thinking
- "winging it"
- missing people terribly
- singing really well (in the shower)
- hugs
- writing
- sleeping
- "selling it"
- living
- collecting random, pointless detritus in the deepest crevices of my bags/wallet/pencil case/jeans
- people skills
- appreciating the smallest of things (I hope that didn't come out wrong)
- not hesitating
- talking
- showers
- standing up for people I care about
- certain accents
- expressing my feelings very vividly at the movies
- borrowing stuff and never giving them back (not my fault, they either move out of the country forever/never want it back)
- sign-making
- keeping up conversations (I really am good at that)
- inking out my precise feelings
- being a shrink for strangers and friends (I'm like everyone's go-to girl)
- doing what I feel like
- kids (kids love me!)
I wish I wasn't so good at:
- attracting guys I haven't the desire to attract instead of the one, single guy I do (it's always a cosmic misunderstanding)
- spilling food everygoddamntime I serve myself something
- injuring myself
- breaking everything I touch (I swear, it's like I'm either a really awful superhero or a really lame supervillain)
- not knowing how to swim
- forgetting relevant information/retaining really, really useless trivia
I wish I was better at:
- commitment (to lesser things, with big deals, I'm really quite phenomenal)
- being discreet about feelings
- skating
- guitar
- singing
- interpreting body language
- being awesome
- German
- not losing my shit all the freaking time
I am not so good at:
- holding still
- waiting
- waking up early (early: 10 am and earlier)
- sharing my food
- jumping and missing the ground
- having superpowers
- having 20/20 vision
- financially negotiating with people I know personally
- being disappointed
- being discreet about anything at all (I wear my heart on my sleeve)
- not letting technology around me fail spontaneously
