• ink and bone: got from library, will purchase and continue
  • minion: covert/overt homophobia drove me away within the first few pages, got from library, will not continue, liked the main antagonist more than the protagonists, may continue down the line but the homophobia really made me mildly irritated
  • carmilla: got from library, will purchase and continue with other short stories of in a glass darkly, classic horror
  • to all the boys i've loved before: as i started this, i hated it. i thought it was vapid and stupid, but the more i read it (listened to it really), i fell in love with the story. nostalgia literally washed over me and i cried multiple times.
  • the kiss quotient: i got to chapter 8 about two hours into the audiobook and just didn't like it. not the type of romance i'm into. or it could be the narrator and i did not mesh.
  • children of blood and bone: i have mixed feelings about this book. part of me thinks and knows it's necessary, but there were so many cliches. cliched hero's journey.
  • borne: i would slip in and out of this book, but it was ideally a good read.
  • six of crows: everything that i thought it would be: great! it was honestly better than i thought it was going to be.
  • crazy rich asians: i got to chapter 14 into the audiobook and just couldn't get into it. watched the movie and enjoyed it. i just don't think contemporary romance is my thing and i'd rather not waste my time.
