  • ah... raistlin was a first love of mine. he's a sickly, frail mage with an insatiable quest for power in.. a published, very long, extensive set of books based on someone's d&d campaign. please keep in mind that i did not know this at the time LOL
  • raistlin really was an outcast and he Knew Too Much-- thru his quest for power he ended up half possessed by a wILD wizard ghost and hourglass eyes that let him see people age and die when he looks at them, some emo shit. clearly.
  • i really connected to his quiet observation and offputting demenour. i read these in a period of my life where i was absolutely too weird for my own good and very alone in that regard. especially beacause i have, and continue to be in a weird position where i always Know Too Much, and that's a very specific kind of power
