• Everything has a place. I can put things away and every part of the floor can be cleaned.
  • A bathtub that fits all of me and doesn't make me feel ashamed about using so much water.
    • Latter criteria might involve something like a Japanese shower/bath.
  • Stone counters in the kitchen. Makes it easy to set things down and not worry about it burning through or making a water spot.
  • A closet or wardrobe with only clothing in it.
  • The ability to perform a culinary mise en scène.
  • LIGHT.
  • A large white bed with very few pillows.
  • A big, heavy, wooden table. Something that is more resilient than the passing years.
  • Plants everywhere. Ones that I can't kill easily.
  • Wallpaper.
  • A social calendar. There are certain days of the week when you are always occupied and going somewhere. Going "out" doesn't necessarily mean being seen, but it includes the ever-important element of socializing. There's none of that wondering whether your friends would like to hang out with you.
    • Realm of small dinners, cultural events, and weekends away.
  • Holidays with decorations.
  • Regular beauty regimens. Like the social calendar, there are specific days where I use a face mask, do a scrub, deep moisturize my hair, etc.
  • The vein I'm trying to make is to be unafraid of establishing regularity.
  • Eating three meals a day and having a natural and constant energy flow.
  • A strong shredder.
  • Individual recycling bins and set-aside for compost.
  • No fluorescent lighting.
  • Wardrobes.
  • A really big, really real sponge.
