- joining the wrestling team and making it to provincials even though I broke my shoulder at the tournament. people took care of me and that felt nice
- when thomas held hands with me on the bus ride up to kamloops and i felt really special because he was 3 years older and it's really hilarious now to think about it, but i still like to think about it because it was the first time a guy showed real interest in me
- placing in provincials in grade 11 and going to nationals that year, making the huge decision to change my life
- spending my grade 12 with my first real boyfriend and sharing a lot of firsts with him
- getting on the honor roll in grade 12
- trying out for the musical in grade 10, i didnt go to the second set of them but i forced myself to sing in front of people in a solo way
- getting my braces off
