  • Darfur Awareness Day- get all college media to print or broadcast a story on Darfur, all high school history teachers to offer extra credit to students who write a letter to their congressmen about the situation. organize blog coverage, twittering, and facebooking about it. Some sort of simple visual key, like wear a certain color or flag or button on that day

  • Spherus Studios (tm): A dynamic and ever evolving collective of creative people and artists joining together behind a common goal of the transformative power of art, community, and collaboration.
  • The NEW Southern Mythology: An interdisciplinary art project involving multiple genres, mediums, and artists to create and articulate the unique and imaginative mythologies of the Southern United States.
  • American Zeitgeist: A Photo series depicting the paradoxical nature of our generation and it's navigation of the American cultural landscape. Punctuated by the juxtapositions of common life themes that arise in the 20-something age bracket with typical scenes of Americana.
  • Everyday People: A public art project based on a series of photos of of the daily tasks that take place in bathrooms all over the world. Brushing teeth, putting on make-up, peeing, and other daily tasks that are universal and can serve to unite and inspire thought.
  • Reading through the year: A book of the month photo calendar: modern reinterpretations of beloved books and stories.
  • The Camp: A fine/performing/commercial arts camp for underprivileged kids who show artistic potential but cannot afford a traditional art camp. The purpose of the camp is two-fold- serve the community of artistic kids and teens by educating them in art as a valid career choice AND engage the campers in community art projects and other service projects as a form of payment for the camp tuition. The kids both become more educated and educate and serve others outside the traditional art community.
