- Tom Lehrer: Quirky humorist + awesome rag-time piano (mid-century) = awesome satire and great songs.
- The Village Green: Kinks infused contemporary alt, lots of "oooohs," and "Ahhhhs."
- NeverShoutNever: Melodic power-pop with well constructed melodies, unabashedly romantic and introspective lyrics, and indie sensibilities.
- The Dry Spells: fem retro rock laden with heavy drumming, simple acoustic folksy instrumentation, and multi-layered harmonious vocals that harken back to chants of monks mixed with the presence of 1960's melodies and story telling.
