• since i lived next to oscar, he tended to talk to me more than one would expect. he commonly talked to me about whatever was on his mind that day, and though most of it went over my head, i could tell he was happy that someone was listening.
• i asked a lot of questions, and often did the endless chain of “why?” to my peers.
• i commonly had one of my fingers in my beak when i was thinking about something.
• i was a wonder at roller skating, but wasn’t actually that good at skating on ice.
• additionally, there was a skating rink just a little ways out of sesame street that one of the adults would take me to on special occasions. there was always a lot of music, and i loved putting on a show!
• i was emotionally lost after mr. hooper’s death for a while. at first, i was just so sad and mad that i didn’t know what to do with myself, and just wandered around sesame street for a few days. i mourned for a long time.
