• sprocket was a very old dog, but he was well-off for his age. still as spunky as the day i got him.
  • he had respiratory issues due to Something and snored loudly as he slept.
• i didn’t live in the workshop itself, it was attached to a house. the door to the rest was a bit to the right of the hole in the wall.
• though i couldn’t see the fraggles, i did feel like there was an added presence whenever someone was in the room with me.
• i kept my drivers license for a long time, and actually drove to wherever the workshop was with sprocket in the back.
  • i “lost” my license because my vision was starting to fail. i kept the car, though, and tinkered with it extensively.
• i got the nickname “doc” from my friends. we went to the sameness college, and poked fun at me for getting a PhD (in marine biology, actually!). of course, they meant no harm.
