memories
- in the days of the ottoman empire, i was a lot less chatty than i was normally. i’m not sure why.
- i did have trouble with english, but it didn’t quite sound like it did in the english dub.
- i also had issues with pronouns a lot (there’s only gender-neutral ones in turkish). i usually referred to people by name because of sticklers.
- my issue with calling everyone "guy" was because i COMPLETELY misinterpreted calling someone "dude"
- my mask was originally from the times of the ottomans, for the sake of protecting my eyes from the sun.
- i kept it afterward for aesthetic reasons. also because it was iconic.
- greece and i hadn’t really complicated feelings about each other. instead of talking it out like normal people, we got in fistfights.
- during the period between the fall of the ottoman empire and the betterment of turkey, i felt very, very sick. bedridden, but not because i couldn’t move.
