memories (warning: these memories tackle topics of things as vague as abuse to things as specific as strangulation. please read with caution.)

• i was born shortly after the fraggle war, and most of the time i spent with uncle gobo was after this. the destruction of most of the mushroom towers during said war is what led us to search for more resources.
• uncle gobo actively tried to kill me. he would usually go for my neck and chest when trying to physically beat me back.
  • because of this, i couldn't tolerate things around my neck. though i had my scarf as an adult, i couldn't tie it too tight.
• i never discussed my abuse with nephew gobo, and honestly hoped he never knew. i believe he had his eye on me because of my behaviors, though.
• i rarely had any concern for the physical well-being of myself or my belongings, purely because i was taught out of it.
• i carried what i had left of my rock collection into adulthood. i carried a few of my favorites with me in my backpack at all times.
  • i could gush about my favorite rocks for hours! i liked quartzes a lot, including amethyst and landscape jaspers!
• when nephew gobo was first put into my care, i did everything i possibly could to make him feel loved, even if it was something as simple as singing with him when he asked. i wanted to make sure he knew he was loved.
• i stole most of my postcards and other silly creature belongings. no idea how i mailed them, though.
• i enjoyed studying language, but never gave myself the time of day to actually do it.
• i was very detail-oriented, and commonly left small doodles on my postcards!
