- balsam was the third minstrel to join us.
- balsam had anxiety and was commonly nonverbal.
- he also had a turtle-esque shell he stored most of his belongings in and tucked himself into for sleep.
- despite his shell, balsam was insectoid.
- he and brio had sort of a brother-sister relationship.
- balsam met us because he got lost and followed us around because he saw us first. he was very scared when we first found him out, and went nonverbal because of it. our first conversation was in sign language - he understood, even though i was rusty.
- we tested him, and it turned out he was a minstrel, so we kept him.
- his species lived sorta in termite hills?? they were deep in a pit and you got around the area on a ridge. it dipped quickly and you could fall really easily, but balsam was a master at crawling up and down the walls, understandably.
