• since minstrels traveled around, we saw many, many, many different places. keep in mind that some names be incorrect or excluded; my memory tends to fail me on names a lot.
  • the singing cave
    • i lived near the singing cave when i was younger. i spent a lot of time in there, trying to hear the cave’s Song. it was very long, longer than any other one i’d heard... probably around an hour or more.
    • i also brought murray in here sometimes.
  • consorts’ cavern
    • this is where i confessed to murray for the first time! there was a huge musical flower growing in one of the walls and it... sang i guess?
    • i don’t think this was its actual name, but i’m going with it for now.
  • (name unknown)
    • this place was a grotto, and the location of the water song’s origin.
    • brool liked being here. it reminded him of the good parts of home.
  • fraggle rock
    • fraggle rock was somewhere in eastern canada. the gorgs’ garden was in a forest clearing way, way deep in.
    • we didn’t go to fraggle rock much, but when we did, we were always paid utmost attention to. it was nice to be in the spotlight. everyone hushed when we came in.
  • the river
    • the river ran through the whole cave system that fraggle rock was connected to. if i needed to get to fraggle rock, i followed it. it flowed in all sorts of directions; it was very long and winding.
  • (name unknown)
    • this tunnel has thick inlets of phosphorus inlaid in the walls. it’s where we got most of our fire-starting materials.
  • home
    • hey i lived there!
    • my home was in a small cavern near a hole to the surface, which was covered by a tall, flat tree.
    • it was very close to the singing cave, as said before.
  • (name unknown)
    • this is where murray’s species lives.
    • i believe the name had the word “forest” in it somewhere but i’m not sure of the full thing yet.
    • it was a cave with trees all over. a lot of vines came down from the ceiling and roots were inlaid in the walls. all of the houses were treehouses, and the species usually didn’t touch the ground unless absolutely necessary.
  • nucifera grotto
    • this is where brool lived, and thusly, where we rescued him from.
    • there were houses made of stone, but they were commonly blown up or just generally destroyed. everything was chaos.
    • there were some backroads into the grotto that led into a lot of water. this is how we got brool in and out safely.
    • we avoided it like the plague and rarely even got in the vicinity of it.
  • (name unknown)
    • this is where balsam came from.
    • it was a large city of termite hills, all in a very large pit. the walls of the pit had a ridge on top to walk on, and whatever balsam was could easily skitter up or down the steep walls to get home.
    • i had to slide down the wall and i skinned my knee somehow.
  • brio’s house
    • brio’s house was also near an exit of the rock.
    • it was very remote; there weren’t any neighbors for miles.
    • it was also covered in grass and moss and vines. it was all green. i think there was a hole above the backyard; the actual “home” was, like... wooden or clay walls that melded in with the rock tunnel. it was a fairly normal house.
  • the heart of the rock
    • the heart of the rock was always where the temperature was most extreme.
    • all river paths and all paths led here. it was sort of an “all roads lead to rome” situation.
  • midnight places
    • midnight places had less physical attributes and more emotional connections. any place could be a “midnight place,” really.
    • it sorta has this feeling of, like... when it’s dark and quiet out, and you (and maybe a select person or few people) are the only one(s) awake. it’s private and it’s intimate and it doesn’t quite feel real, if that makes sense.
