- all sorts of creatures could be minstrels. it usually tended to be odd-ones-out of the species, but not always. a human could be a minstrel!
- minstrels pinged on the same side that their dominant hand was on. this could cause issues if there was damage.
- this ping usually occurred at the same time as every other minstrel, and if someone new pinged, there was a noticeable difference. this is usually how new minstrels were found.
- if unsure, pings could be heard when a possible minstrel is touched. i checked mokey in mokey and the minstrels by touching her shoulder and nothing came of it.
- all minstrels have an intrinsic knowledge of how the melody, rhythm, etc of a song go. this was a common test that i used - i used let me be your song as a baseline.
- i usually traveled to things alone to keep the other minstrels safe, or if it was a personal event. this was very rare.
- minstrel music had a strange power over its listeners. the first time we stepped into fraggle rock, it was so quiet... even the doozers had stopped working. all eyes and ears were on us.
- however, this wasn’t the only effect it could have. there was also the ability to create a chorus of everyone present.
