- Maximum 6 hours of sleep on school nights
- Study aids in the form of notecards (lots and lots)
- Lesson summary/outline for political science subjects
- Having three separate to-do lists containing the same things to do
- Utilization of food as coping mechanism for sleepiness
- Sunglasses and/or umbrella, always within reach, and never in use at the same time
- Oatmeal in the morning
- Caffeine mornings or afternoons, but very rarely two cups in one day
