- Going on a Disney cruise with my friend Andee and her family, when I was about 13.
- Pretending to be a lion with my cousin Tasha on her trundle bed (aka den).
- Winning a contest in Girl Scouts, where they printed a picture I had drawn on our camp t-shirts for that year.
- Going to Disneyland (when I was very young) and Tasha crying hysterically on Splash Mountain, because she was in the front row. Her dad filmed it all.
- Rollerblading through my neighborhood with my best friend Katie.
- Pretending to be a private detective (I was inspired by my Mary Kate and Ashley books).
- My dad reading us the book Matilda by Roald Dahl, and using funny voices.
- Going over to Tasha's at Halloween, dressed as a ninja (she was a genie). Her dad had set up a haunted house and we walked through it.
- Playing Lego pirates with my dad and my brothers.
- Writing stories and poems on my dad's super-old computer.
- Getting perfect scores on all of my spelling tests in the 4th grade.
- Seeing a Halloween show at a theater with Tasha and I think my aunt Kerry (it was a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure I had a crush on the vampire guy).
- Watching Princess Tales with Tasha.
- Memorizing Spice Girls songs.
- Playing Indiana Jones on the tramp with Ken and Luke.
- Climbing my grandparents' apple tree and pretending to be Mary Poppins (what? Why Marry Poppins?)
- Sending a boy named Jason a love letter (he lived down my street and had very blonde hair).
