• 300 (for Humanities, ugh, one of the worst movies I've ever seen)
  • The 300 Spartans (also for Humanities; cheesy Cold-War-era)
  • 9 (with Wes, it wasn't spectacular)
  • A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (for Theater, it was funny)
  • A Night at the Opera (3-17-10, with Luke; it was the first movies I've seen with the Marx brothers and it didn't let me down, Groucho is perfect)
  • All My Sons (for Theater; depressing)
  • An American in Paris (oh, Gene Kelly, why aren't you married to me)
  • An Extremely Goofy Movie (thanks, Jackson)
  • Antigone (10-12-09: for Humanities, it had excellent acting)
  • Avatar (it was fine but not as good as Sherlock Holmes)
  • The Brothers Bloom (I have got a crush on Adrien Brody that's bigger than his nose)
  • Carnival of Souls (a very old cheesy scary movie, set in Salt Lake City)
  • The Clandestine Marriage (for Theater, full of scandal and intrigue, with Timothy Spall)
  • Disney's A Christmas Carol (Jim Carrey blows me away)
  • Elizabethtown (convoluted and boring sometimes but had its moments)
  • Fantastic Mr. Fox (hilarious! Wes Anderson hits one out of the park, again)
  • Ghosts (also for Theater, Judi Dench, yes yes)
  • The Gold Rush (I am now officially in love with Charlie Chaplin)
  • The Importance of Being Earnest (the 1982 version, for Theater)
  • The Karate Kid (4-28-10, with Betsy: it's now one of my favorites!)
  • Keep an Eye on Amelie (10-12-09: for Theater, it featured Judi Dench before she was old)
  • Labyrinth (10-9-09: with Luke; one of my new favorites, features a lot of David Bowie shaking his bulge around)
  • Medea (for Theater, again)
  • Modern Times (3-17-10, with Luke; another classic with Charlie Chaplin)
  • Nine (the musical that had Judi Dench)
  • On the Waterfront (6-2-10; Marlon Brando was a babe, see my entry on Streetcar)
  • The Princess and the Frog (you know it was beautiful)
  • Private Lives (for Theater, oh how I love British comedy)
  • Sherlock Holmes (easily my favorite movie of the year; way better than Avatar)
  • The Skeleton Key (surprising, but not great)
  • Spring Break Shark Attack (GREAT)
  • A Streetcar Named Desire (oh man Marlon Brando was so good-looking in his heyday)
  • Street Fighter (10-11-09: with Betsy; it's one of her favorite movies, and it was certainly beautiful)
  • The Time Traveler's Wife (okay, it did make me cry, I will admit it)
  • Where the Wild Things Are (10-16-09: with Luke and AJ at the Gateway; I loved it. It's my kind of movie, I think)
  • Whip It (3-17-10: with Luke; it was fun and funny. I love Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore was hilarious)
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine (seen at AJ's house, it was excellent)
