- Interview them once a year and record it
- Make loads of cake and muffins with them
- Bring them hot chocolate in the evening
- Let them listen to good, old music (Dire Straits, Doe Maar, Queen, U2, Oasis, The Beatles)
- Let them listen to good music I like now (Fall Out Boy, Racoon, Bløf, Krezip, The Kooks, Paramore, Coldplay and many others)
- Make sure they wear all stars
- Raise them polite and neat
- Let them play a music-instrument, prefebly piano or guitar
- Write them a bedtime-story
- Make grocerylists for them when they can just read with cookies and stuff they can get theirselves
- Cook an enormous birthdaycake for them every year
- Buy all disneyfilms
- Let them read Harry Potter, Georgia Nicholson, Artemis Fowl and Annie M.G. Schmidt
- Let them watch My Sisters' Keeper, The notebook, The Titanic, Alles Is Liefde, Love Actually and many others
- Let them read much about Romeo and Juliet
- Make them an enormous princessdress (when a girl, of course)
- Read them from 'Raad eens hoeveel ik van je hou'
- Make them listen to classic rock radio. I can't imagine (I wouldn't too) that my kids grow up without knowing who Fleetwood Mac is
- Give them yoghurt with brown caster sugar (I was fascinated by it when I was younger)
- Write a book for them, from their birth until their 18th birthday, describing everything I feel and memories
