- My paternal grandparents, Doyle and Lydia, met in a soda shop where my grandfather was working. She was acting up with her friends and pretending she was going to smoke a cigar, he came up and offered to light it for her
- My maternal grandmother, Ruby, died when my mom was 12.
- I have 4 aunts and uncles on my mom's side, and 3 uncles on my dad's.
- The only memory I have of meeting my maternal grandfather, Doc, I didn't even know he was my grandfather.
- My sister, Debbie is 13 years older than me
- Lydia and Doyle both served as medics in WWII. Lydia was a nurse at Pearl Harbor after the attacks and Doyle was a doctor on a battleship.
- Meghan and I hated each other till i was 18.
- My dad is bald
- My mother's side of the family still holds a family reunion every year and it's quite an experience, let me tell you.
- My oldest great uncle, James, just celebrated his 90th birthday
