8.04.26 | (( a remix of a dream i've had dozens of times )) i was in a large rundown house with many other people. suddenly someone spotted a huge pile of explosives outside and someone going to set them off. i rushed to the far end of the house, jumped out a ground floor window, and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran. every time i looked behind me i could see the dome of a nuclear explosion racing toward me, yet on i ran. i eventually lost sight of the dome and made it to a farm/church for help. some of the people i was in the rundown house with were there. i guess they ran, too.

  • possibly the most well structured book i've ever read. had to reread the first ~70 pages twice which is a big ask, but it was so rewarding. the parallels in the story. the building dread and slow revelation, centered on a real atrocity that happened to the blackfeet nation. stunning and horrifying.
