- job hunting
- going to the bank
- going to school in the morning when i haven't finished an assignment or project
- babysitting - dealing/talking with the mother (i never fail to heave a sigh of relief once she leaves for work. as for the actual babysitting, i take great joy in it!)
- figuring out where to sit at lunch time
- looking for my buspass
- continual amassing of debt on my library card
- waking up on a full scheduled day; understanding i'll hardly have any time to myself, or that when i do, i'll have no energy left to enjoy it
- sending mail
- dealing with patrons on craigslist
- when hurricane season passes through my room
- the pile of clothing on my chair stacks twice as high as the back
- piles of books and paper and more clothing overflowing from top of wooden chest to the floor
- handing in creative writing to lois
- leaving home looking trashed or scrubbed ("looks good = feels good" - i used to react to this phrase with skepticism)
- lola still isn't home by 11:00 PM
- bumping into people i know when skipping class
- coming home after a day of skipping
- deciding whether or not i should skip
- this is usually resolved when i'm already at the skytrain station to get off for school
- figuring out what to wear when it's raining/looks like it's raining outside
- should i wear my rain boots, raincoat, and bring an umbrella?
- or maybe i only need boots and a raincoat
- or maybe just boots and an umbrella

- going to school wearing boots, a raincoat, and carrying umbrella, then coming home carrying a heavy bag and umbrella, feeling ridiculous because it's sunny and warm
- vancouver weather is unpredictable and the rain is weak most of the time
- i don't know why i do this to myself
- posting strong opinions on facebook
- i feel like my christian elders are going to judge me for talking about dark and negative subjects and not expressing conservative thinking
- and then i realise nobody really pays attention to my facebook
- so whatever
- packing to move
- vacuuming and cleaning my room
- strangers opening my bedroom door (during the moving process)
- strangers entering my bedroom
- strangers touching my belongings
- my grandmother touching my belongings
- people looking over my shoulder while i'm on the computer
- teachers passing by when i'm doing schoolwork
- teachers sitting beside me
- people looking over my shoulder in general
- people staring at me
