• 1.25.12, grade 6, 04/05. luis chan's mute mother entering the classroom at lunch time in search for her son. because she could not verbally inform us of her purpose for being there she picked up a chalk stick and simply wrote luis on the board. in response, half of us, in intentionally clear tones, told her that luis was somewhere (i do remember knowing where luis was, i just don't remember where exactly)
