- oldies who attended the 'school for misfits' back in 1985 and beyond made a facebook group and discussed how they're so glad they transferred to Total Ed or they wouldn't have finished high school OR it furthered their education
- the group for my old school? everyone hates it
- the headteacher is very patient and understanding
- she dedicates a lot of her time listening to ranting teens and working out student/teacher issues
- the building and the institution itself is very small (of which I'm very appreciative)
- right now the regular attendance is about 70-90 students, and there are only 7 teachers
- classes function by two semesters in one year, which is soooooo much better than the day 1/day 2 trimester system that mainstream schools have
- I am actually learning in my classes and got great marks on my first report card
- I used to hate poetry, but since taking Lit 12, I've fallen in love with words
- I just think it's so awesome that I'm a straight-edge Christian, no drugs, no alcohol, no promiscuity, not even cleavage, and I go to this hardcore ghetto school that was specifically founded to help and encourage the dropouts or at-risk youth of Vancouver
