- I'm not very inspired to take many photos on a cloudy day
- but when it darkens and day turns into night, I'm shooting away like there's no tomorrow (especially in Downtown Vancouver. Granville Street is the place to be.)
- And for some odd reason, I am more confident to take out my camera and shoot whatever I want at night time rather than during the day.
- Film > Digital: when I press down the shutter release button, the sound it makes is the most solid, fulfilling, reassuring sound I am fortunate enough to hear.
- Digital > Pentax K1000: it isn't built with depth of field preview so the only way I can improve my shot taking is looking at the negatives a week after the roll is rewound and processed.
- DSLR > SLR: most DSLRs come with lenses that already have considerable zooming abilities, but my 1:2 50mm lens, the universal lens that come with Pentax K1000, has no zooming ability at all. I mean, you can take a lot of great photographs that do not involve close-ups, but it would be nice once in a while to have access to that simple function.
- I need to buy a super duper zoom lens
