• ❝ i don't regret not picking that extra course because if i had, you would not be my english teacher this year and you're my favourite!❞

• a student wrote ❝ i love english!!❞ at the back of her test.
• ❝ i may go to another school next year and it's sad because it means i have zero chance of having you as my english teacher again.❞
• a group of students sent me a picture of a panda ❝ because you said they were cute.❞
• a student brought me sweets and homemade biscuits for her birthday!
• ❝ i used to hate english but now thanks to you it's become my favourite subject.❞
• a mum told me that her daughter talks about me all the time and said i was the best teacher ever and her favourite.
• when i told them i had a cat and what his name was, they all said ❝ aw miss you're so sweet!❞
• when their assignment was to film a video of themselves performing a scene they wrote, a lot of them added adorable bloopers at the end for me to see.
• ❝ you're the perfect teacher miss.❞
• their surprised reaction whenever they realise i'm a huge nerd; it's just priceless.
• two girls were waving at me from the distance and when i came closer and asked them why they were waving (i thought they wanted to tell me we had changed classrooms), they enthusiastically replied ❝ because we like you miss!❞
• right after my first inspection, a student made a ❝ fingers crossed❞ sign at me from the corridor after the bell. the next day, i brought sweets to thank them for being nice, and they said ❝ you did a fantastic job too miss!❞ and ❝ we wanted to make you proud!❞
• ❝i have to tell you something miss. yesterday i tried chocolate cereal with pineapple juice and it's amazing you have to try it❞ and this becoming a sort of private joke between the two of us.
• ❝ good morning miss how are you today?" ❝ i'm well thank you, what about you?❞ ❝ i'm happy because i'm seeing you.❞
• two boys knocked at the staff room's window to show me the yellow stripes on their sweaters that they wore for me because it's my favourite colour.
• a girl came to me to show me pictures of her cat because she knows i love them.
• a student somehow found out the date of my birthday when i gave them their homework because ❝ there was a look on your face when you said the date out loud that made it obvious that it was a special day❞, and all the other students in the class got super excited, asking me what i liked so they could get me presents, telling me they would all get together to buy me something special, etc (obviously they should absolutely not get a present for their teacher, but the fact that they said they wanted to was extremely sweet).
• a boy told me he had something for me in his bag and pulled out a yellow windbreaker his mum had bought him, and insisted i tried it in front of everyone and wanted me to buy the same one so we could wear the same jacket.
• two boys playing in the same rugby team came to me to tell me they had a big game coming up and that they would like it if i came to support them. unfortunately i couldn't but they told me they would think of me when winning the game.
