- because school takes up 90% of my time anyway
- because after 4 months, I got no Christmas gift (c'mon, really? it's not the lack of gift I care about, its the lack of consideration or thought.)
- because if you're 'exclusive', you should see each other more than once every two weeks
- because its nice to know that I'm missed sometimes
- because when plans are made, they should be kept (and don't wait until I call you 30 minutes prior to tell me that you've decided to cancel)
- because I don't believe for one second that anyone is SO busy that they can't pick up the phone and make a 5-minute phone call to say hi every now and then
- because I'm not willing to deal with this recent wave of self-importance-- get over yourself, please
- because even though the committed-but-casual thing might be appealing at first, it's really not all that much fun
- because I won't do long distance, so it would end in a few months anyway
