Today I woke up an hour too early by mistake, but didn't realize it until I'd already been up for 15 minutes. At first I was dismayed, but then I brightened and decided to make the most of it all, because I had realized I could capitalize on this extra time and Nair my wispy blonde moustache. I've noticed recently that although it's not so noticeable most of the time, the lighting in the bathroom reflects on it in a way that makes me feel like everyone is noticing all the time. I bought the Nair at Walgreen's last weekend, but hadn't used it yet.
The container had instructions explaining that you should test a small amount of it on your skin before using it, but I declined to take this unnecessary precaution. This turned out to be a tactical error. I had some kind of skin reaction to it and had to hold the freezer pack from my lunch box on my lip until it stopped burning. I estimate that I will have between 48 and 72 more hours of redness and irritation to endure.
I am free of my manly stache, but need to evaluate my priorities before I regroup and consider my next strategy.
The picture I showed my friend when I told her I had made a terrible mistake.
