aug 17 2010 + Today I woke up an hour too early by mistake, but didn't realize it until I'd already been up for 15 minutes. At first I was dismayed, but then I brightened and decided to make the most of it all, because I had realized I could capitalize on this extra time and Nair my wispy blonde moustache. I've noticed recently that although it's not so noticeable most of the time, the lighting in the bathroom reflects on it in a way that makes me feel like everyone is noticing all the time. I bought the Nair at Walgreen's last weekend, but hadn't used it yet. The container had instructions explaining that you should test a small amount of it on your skin before using it, but I declined to take this unnecessary precaution. aug 17 2010 + I found this website and it irritates me. I had a book when I was a kid that was called something like "Crazy Laws!" and it listed some of the more unusual laws that have stayed on the books of different places for years and it told some of the interesting stories that led to them. A lot of them really are quite weird or oddly specific, and they are interesting to learn about. So I thought that's what this website would be like. Anyway, it's not. It's actually a pretty idiotic site. Its tagline says, "Big government. Small brains. Dumb laws". But most of the laws aren't dumb, they're just no longer applicable to the times we live in. In their original context, many of them were important. FOR INSTANCE.
