- because you're the only one who can make me feel calm and safe
- because you try to be patient and to understand me.. even when it's driving you crazy.. which is something nobody else has even attempted for very long, even the ones who claimed to love me..
- because you are more honest with yourself and about yourself, including when you've made a mistake, than most anybody..
- because you will actually say you're sorry
- because I love just listening to you talk... you usually have a unique point of view or even just an interesting way of saying things
- because you are clever and funny and have a wicked sense of humour and make me smile
- because when you are happy or excited it's infectious
- because you are unapologetically yourself
- because you can accept people for who they are...
- because you have seen me at my worst and yet you don't make me feel like I'm broken or wrong
- because you one of the few people I've ever known who doesn't invalidate my feelings.. or say stupid, cliche things when things are bad..
- because you can be thoughtful and/or considerate in little surprising ways..
- because you are just beautiful and lovable to me..
