let's see if i can even remember all of these:

• right after watching the sixth sense, when my sister jumped across the bathroom door as i was exiting, giving me a million heart attacks because of the terrifying scene where cole is peeing and a ghost walks by the door.
• the one time i saw a shadowy figure in the laundry room in front of the back door only to realize it was a hanging coat. my heart stopped.
• the time i heard burglars in the house while i was home alone and 100% helpless in the shower. i held onto my razor like i was gonna use it on someone.
• some time when i was much younger after i had a nightmare and was too afraid to cross the 2 ft of hallway and knock on my parents door for comfort so i kept whispering for them, bawled my eyes out, and curled up in the fetal position on the floor until i eventually fell asleep.
• when i was riding in than's car down some country road without a seatbelt and we almost got hit head-on by some moron driving down the center of the road at 70 mph around a sharp turn. i pretty much never fail to use a seatbelt after that one.
• the time my sister bought a freaky mechanical worm thing and hid it under her bed, turning it on in the middle of the night and causing me to scream in utter terror for 10 minutes straight about what on earth could possibly be making that noise and have glowing eyes.
• staying in an old farm house at night while my friend was house-sitting. creepy dolls everywhere, and also like a labyrinth.
• running across a former pond where a girl supposedly died and getting my shoe stuck in the mud but being convinced a dead girl had grabbed my ankle and ripped my shoe off.
• visiting elizabeth's grave and having a rock pelted at my head and other freaky occurrences
• the couple of nights that followed my first viewing of "the ring" - that movie was absolutely terrifying!
• the time a gigantic wolf spider crawled out of my shoe immediately after i removed my foot from it resulting in the most blood curdling scream of probably all time.
• the time i got abducted by a freaking alien or something. woke up to the loudest most unearthly noise ever right in my ear but also somehow right in front of my bedroom door. and then me slowly opening it and my mom standing there in the dark like an uber creep, also wondering what the noise was. EDIT: my sister confessed to me that this noise was in fact her dropping a metal fan onto the floor. this explains so much, except for why on earth she wouldn't admit to it when it actually happened.
