• an easy, YA read lacking substantial character development, an original plot, and a consistent narrator.

well, what's this unoriginal plot then?

• an angsty teenager (harry potter) suffering abandonment issues due to his older sister and father just up and disappearing one day (charmed), lives alone with his slightly unbalanced mother. he then finds out he is suppose to fight demons b/c of destiny and shit (buffy). oh and btws protagonist, your dad didn't leave; he is currently imprisoned in hell because he was kidnapped, you self-righteous prick (supernatural).

• dustin explains he doesn't have nightmares when sam's there
• chase warns dustin against sam, because he doesn't want to see a nice guy like dustin hurt
